Hello, I'm Orhan, a recent graduate with a 2.1 Hons in Film Production from Brunel University London. My journey in film started modestly during my GCSEs, where the world of post-production fascinated me. Editing footage on computers became a quiet passion that guided my educational choices.
Choosing Media during my A-Levels and pursuing a film production degree at Brunel were conscious decisions to align my education with my love for film. Throughout this academic journey, I've been fortunate to contribute to meaningful projects, refining my skills in editing, storytelling, and project management.
As someone who aspires to be an editor, seeking opportunities in the film industry and simply loves the magic of cinema, I've immersed myself in the complexities of film creation. From my role in the 'CRACKSPOT' project, a finalist for 'Best Post-Production' in the university showcase, to winning 'Best Non-Fiction Film' with 'EXILE,' each experience has been a humbling step in my growth.
Armed with a 2.1 Hons and eager to bring my academic learnings into the dynamic world of film production, post-production holds a special place in my heart. I find joy in every aspect of the process, from technical intricacies to creative storytelling, continuously honing a diverse skill set.
Beyond the classroom, my journey has included hands-on experiences, such as contributing as a Production Assistant for RexBrown x TikTok. These real-world encounters have taught me invaluable lessons about adaptability, organisational skills, and the vibrant reality of the film industry.
Eager to contribute my skills, dedication, and a genuine love for storytelling, I'm poised for the transition from academia to the film industry. Let's connect and explore how I can contribute to projects that resonate with audiences and contribute to the magic of storytelling.
