Hello, I’m Orhan — a passionate aspiring editor and recent Film Production graduate from Brunel University London (2:1 Honours). My journey into post-production began during my GCSEs, where a quiet fascination with editing footage sparked a love for storytelling that has guided every step since.
I’ve since developed my craft academically and professionally, specialising in offline editing using Adobe Premiere Pro. During university, I edited CRACKSPOT, which was nominated for Best Post-Production at our showcase, and contributed cinematography to EXILE, winner of Best Non-Fiction Film. These experiences deepened my understanding of visual storytelling and the power of pacing, emotion, and structure in post-production.
Beyond university, I completed the Creative Mentor Network’s Break the Wall programme, where I was mentored by an industry editor at Cabin Edit. This experience refined my skills, expanded my professional network, and gave me first-hand insight into the post-production advertising world. It also strengthened my passion for the craft — whether it’s working meticulously with footage or collaborating to bring creative visions to life.
I’ve also gained practical experience as a Production Assistant for RexBrown x TikTok, where I learned the importance of adaptability, organisation, and maintaining high standards under pressure.
Storytelling is at the heart of everything I do. I am now focused on building my career in post-production, where I can continue honing my craft and contribute to projects that leave a lasting impact.
